Polish observers actively monitoring presidential election in Ukraine
There also several long-term observers (LTOs) on the ground.
Poland’s observers are the largest group in the ODIHR/OSCE electoral mission. We have dispatched a total of 116 personnel, including 18 representatives of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among the 1,000-strong whole mission (100 LTOs and 900 STOs). The observers are monitoring the electoral process and the course of the voting. Poland has sent one of the strongest contingents as part of the OSCE monitoring mission.
Before they left, the observers took part in a meeting in the Presidential Palace, during which the significance of the Ukrainian mission was discussed by representatives of the President’s Office, the MFA and Solidarity Fund PL, which recruited candidates for the observers.
