MFA statement on terrorist attack in Chinese province of Xinjiang

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland strongly condemns the terrorist attack that took place on a street market in Urumqi, western China (the province of Xinjiang), killing and wounding several dozen people. We consider this tragic event a disgusting act of violence. Poland strongly condemns any form of terror.

Based on our own experience, we can say that only dialogue and understanding can bring long-term solutions to social and political conflicts. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland conveys its deep and sincere condolences to the families and the loved ones of the Urumqi attack’s victims.
